The Red River Boy Choir was founded in 1983 in Fargo-Moorhead by a music teacher who saw the need to bring quality vocal education and vocal literature to boys.  The Red River Boy Choir was a non-profit, fine arts organization; serving communities in the Red River Valley working with boys ages 8-15 who love music.  The Lake Agassiz Girls’ Choir was founded in 1990 by four Fargo music educators: Linda Ferreira, Holly Meester; Rennae Gruchalla, and LaVonne Rustad.

The summer of 2014 brought great promise as the two organizations join forces to create the Fargo Moorhead Youth Choir. Offering opportunities for youth in grades K through 12 to rehearse and perform choral music with skill and understanding in a respectful and collaborative environment.  Our vision is to build a fun and respected choral program that enriches the community and region by fostering a love of music.
