FMYC offers fundraising opportunities throughout the season. All fundraising activities are optional! All funds raised are automatically deposited into the choir member’s account for tuition payments, uniform purchase, or tour costs.
FMYC has many easy ongoing fundraising opportunities as well as periodic events throughout the year. Ongoing and reoccurring fundraisers are listed below others are presented as they occur.
Shop with Scrip
SCRIP is a simple system of purchasing gift cards for a wide variety of businesses. A percentage of each purchase is deposited into the choir member’s account. Many families benefit from buying cards for businesses they consistently use! Learn more at shopwithscrip.com.
Members and their families are able to work shifts at the FMYC concession stand during Scheels Arena events; a stipend is then placed in the members account for each shift worked.
Similar to SCRIP, members purchase gift cards from the executive director at rehearsals. For each card purchased, 5% of the total is deposited into the member’s account.
Papa Murphy’s Coupon Cards
Another great way to add funds to your account! These cards sell for $5 and $4.50 goes into your account. Over $40 dollars in savings make these cards a great deal for both the buyer and seller. Get them from Beth while supplies last.
Herbergers Community Day Sales
Community Days is a fun, rewarding event for 501c3 organizations to increase their visibility in the community and raise funds. Herbergers provides the coupon booklets free of charge and members keep 100% of sales. The Booklets sell for $5 and contain hundreds of dollars in coupons that can be used at Herbergers on the days of the event. Members can sell booklets in the Moorhead Herbergers days leading up to the event if you choose to sell in the store prior to the event you will have first choice of shifts available on the days of the event!
