Donna Atherton has  been actively involved in music for many years. Ms Atherton graduated from NDSU with a B.S. in Music Education.She accompanied the Red River Boy Choir for 14 years. She maintained a private piano studio for 19 years.  Donna has served as organist at Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo for 28 years, and at 1st United Methodist, also in Fargo, for 7 years.  Donna has directed the Bells of Hope hand bell  choir for 18 years.  Her first instrument, as a 1st grader, was the accordion!  She helped start the Lake Agassiz Concert Band, where she played the trombone and baritone.
Ms. Atherton earned a Master of Science in Mass Communications in 2007, and currently serves as the Program Coordinator of Arc West Central.  She also is a coach for Special Olympics Bocce and Bowling.  Her hobbies include Tae Kwon Do and gardening.
